well, even though im using a laptop, i figured that id be able to run this, but i cant without getting a very poor frame rate. im using a gtx 670mx 3gb vram, with a i7 3630qm at 2.4 GHz, and 16 gb of ram. im not sure why itsn not running well. any ideas

What game(s)? What emulator settings? Is your power management settings on high performance?
OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit (occasional Antergos/Arch user)

the only 2 games ive tried have been rachet and clank, up your arsenel and deadlock. i have direct 3d11 hardware, and gs is ssse5, every thing else is default

unfortunately, you have 2 of the most demanding games.
if you have a CPU above 3.8 ghz per core, it'll be playable.

so theres no way to put more of the load onto the gpu instead of the cpu?

that's not how a PS2 works, unfortunately

either sell the laptop and buy a gaming pc and I ain't sure if you can overclock a laptop but you can always try that's the only sollution I could have find, hope I helped a bit
