problem starting metal gear solid:snake eater

Hello everyone!
I've got a problem starting mgs3.
Before i start i would like to say,that i have already carefully configured my pcsx with the official guide.
So,the problem is,when i start the .elf or the SLES xxxx file i get a new black window,where nothing interesting happens.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You didn't read the configuration guide carefully?

I can't see any point it mentions you running the elf file, except for homebrew applications.

Also have to warn you, with that PC you will probably get about 5/60 FPS with that game (other games will not be that slow but still unplayable)
