problems with pcsx2

Are your clamps set to full/extra? FFX is known to be stubborn about that.
OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit (occasional Antergos/Arch user)
(I am no longer a Windows user)

Ok.
For your information, I have tried with another ISO (the one I used was a backup of my own cd) and the sphere grid can be seen and manipulated...
the problem still remains the beginning of the game: when Rikku saves you from the monster in the Baaj temple, the game doesn't show in Rikku's battle menu the "special" voice (to use the grenades).

I don't know why the emulator cannot recognize the "hdd", maybe that's the "mother of all problems".
Moreover, these reboot....
