if my ps2 bios file does not have a game that i never have played, will work on the pcsx2 emu?

I will try to take a stab at this question...

The bios is what ultimately makes the ps2 and the emulator "work" hence why you need your ps2 to legally have the bios. It it independant of any games. So if you go buy a new game from the store, it should work as long as its on the compatibility list.
OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit (occasional Antergos/Arch user)
(I am no longer a Windows user)
CPU: Intel Pentium G3258
GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti
