question about internal res

Hi guys, i've a 8800gts 512 mb with a [email protected] ghz.
how can i improve internal res? with a better cpu or with a better graphic card?

What do you mean? You can change the internal resolution in the GSdx configuration screen in the respective boxes.

you're right. But if i change int res, i lose some fps. It depend by cpu or graphic card?
