That CPU will be enough for some games, but many will definitely still fall short (even with Speedhacks).

You should state the graphics unit of this laptop. It will affect performance.

I don't see the GFX, probably browsed over it - but I know already that your 2Ghz clock speed is not going to be enough for PCSX2 unless you are running a lot of speedhacks on the simpler games. Invest in a stronger dual-core CPU.

2Ghz on that architecture isn't so horrible, it's just still not near what's ideal for PCSX2. Would usually end up using Speedhacks for more consistant full speed, but that would only be with the less demanding / more compatible games. (i.e. Final Fantasy X)

I am, however, afraid that might just be running on the IGP for graphics...

would u guys recomend overclocking it? :/

one of the low end sandybridge iteration for mobile.
you can't OC that cpu. not unless you want to raise BCLK (if that even supported by your laptop bios) and risk destroying your laptop Smile
*even if you did, 5MHx times 20 multi => only 100MHz increse, not worth it

Well, certainly, but onlly if you're capable. Tongue

Seriously, though, overclocking your CPU is great and all, but you're laptop would not likely support it (and neither would that CPU).
