also in the pnach browser, search for your pnach before running the game.
make sure the CRC matches the one displayed in the dos window, not the title bar but inside it, as I have shown in the screenshot.

Yes completely don't know why it isn't loading just says no patch found(this si not an error) and the CRC reads the same as the file name. used your system fine on 4 other game final fantasy x, x-2, Star Ocean 3, and Rogue Galaxy. 2 (E) and 2 (U) all work fine. But for some reason XII won't find the file and I was wondering if there is some trick with XII.

Edit: I looked inthe browser and didn't see it so I went to the folder I did everything except one little snafu I put extension .pnatch instead of .pnach thank you I found it much quicker with your helpSmile

Thanks,.

Try this one, but I'm not sure whether these codes will work or not.

"Final Fantasy X2_PAL_CB ported" Mellow
If it's for the X, what should i do to have the patch working? ( still confused even with reading the 1st message).
Thanks.,

These are the codes for SCES 50490 CRC = A39517AB
I think I got them from here but not sure.

Luris, did you try making the 2's = 0's or use etended. Tried v7 encryption yet. WHen a code does not work, you have to try out all possibilities. If it still does not work then the code is not meant for your version of the game. Smile

Long time lurker, first time poster here. I recently upgraded my computer so finally able to use PCSX2. Everything running smoothly, but now I'm trying to apply a patch to FFX, and something is not working entirely as planned. I'm probably doing something stupid, would appreciate any input you may have.

Right, so. For Final Fantasy X [SCES 50490] (E) [A39517AB], I'm trying to apply the following code:

Quote:Unlimited Gil
1031D218 0000FFFF

According to the first post, I don't need to bother with the mastercode, so going straight to the decryption stage. I get this:

Quote:1A04B8F9 0000FFFF

The one should be transformed into a 0, which gives me the following pnach file:

Quote:gametitle=Final Fantasy X [SCES 50490] (E) [A39517AB]
comment=Meh
//Unlimited Gil
patch=1,EE,0A04B8F9,short,0000FFFF

Just to be certain I tried to change the "short" to: Extended, word, byte. None of those work.

As soon as I try to start up my game, it stops working giving a

Quote:vtlb miss : addr 0xA04B8F9, mode 1
error.

Argh, what am I doing wrong? Sad Much <3 for any help or assistance you can give me.

Never mind, figured it out. The codes were already in raw so decrypting it was a useless extra step. >_<

Hi ppl, I would appreciate help on cheating for Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution NTSC. I got these cheats from CheatMasters here, they seem to be AR2v2/GS2v2 - I simply plugged them into MaxConvert using different settings until they gave RAW-like codes.

The original codes are:

Quote:Infinite Health P1
CE6BD38E BCA99B4C

Never Ring Out
DE9ED612 BCA99B83
DE9ED61A BCA99B83
DE9ED62E CCA99B9C
DE9ECA1E BF899B8B
DE9ECA1A BCA99B83

Converting using MaxConvert on AR2v2/GS2v2 to RAW, we get:

Quote:10732310 000000C9

and

2020289C 00000000
202028A4 00000000
202028B0 10000019
20202CA0 03E00008
20202CA4 00000000

Converting to pnach format,
Quote:patch=1,EE,10732310,extended,000000C9

patch=1,EE,2020289C,extended,00000000
patch=1,EE,202028A4,extended,00000000
patch=1,EE,202028B0,extended,10000019
patch=1,EE,20202CA0,extended,03E00008
patch=1,EE,20202CA4,extended,00000000

The first code(Inf HP) works, but the latter five don't. When the round starts, PCSX2 crashes out with a VTLB 0x0 error(this is from the console).

I tried the above five codes with 'word' instead of 'extended', but that doesn't help as well.

Since the write is to an arguably 'legal' area, I'm wondering why it's crashing.

Any ideas?

Code:
// Infinite Health P1
patch=1,EE,10732310,short,00C9

// Never Ring Out
patch=1,EE,2020289C,word,00000000
patch=1,EE,202028A4,word,00000000
patch=1,EE,202028B0,word,10000019
patch=1,EE,20202CA0,word,03E00008
patch=1,EE,20202CA4,word,00000000
