slight ghosting in ffx-2?
#1
runnin 4x native rez, ogl hw, 8x msaa.  Latest nvidia drivers.  I've noticed I have some ghosting of images offest just a hair from my normal image.. not as bad as in the .hack series.. but noticeable.  Anyone know if the pixel offset or subpixel accuracy has any effect on this?

pcsx 1.4.0, I can post the logs, but I'm not seeing anything in my emu log..

Set the CRC level to Aggressive(check the description,it's supposed to be used in that game)

thx.. that worked perfectly, wasnt sure if that one was one of the games or not.. I know its used in a lot of them. I also know it has no effect in my .hack series.. so I thought I'd ask. Appreciate it man, you were the guy who I was trying to get the attention of Laugh

So, what exactly is that CRC setting doing

That was an actual effect of the game. But when you upscale the game's textures and everything becomes super-clear it looks like crap Tongue So we detect the effect and disable it (it's on aggressive mode because it's not an actual bug, it's a correctly emulated effect)
