so i need some help khII

OK so first off I'm one of those guys that eats hd for breakfast so i was wondering what is the best plugin and settings i could use to get the most out of kh II

My specs and yes i know they're a bit old any way

q6600 quad core processor

4 gigs of ram

nvida geforce 8800

GSDX DX10 version if you're on windows vista or 7. The rest of the settings on default, just know that since your processor is on the lower end and the video ard a little older you will likely get slowdowns from time to time.

The gpu should not pose any problem, even if its the slower GTS(320mb/640mb) version. I recently had the 640mb version on my secondary pc, and it ran every game I threw at it although scaling was stuck at x2 in some cases. AFAIK KH2 isnt that gpu demanding so it should run fine with a bit higher resolution. The cpu could still pose a problem though. Use the latest beta, and use the recommended speedhacks aswell as the EE cyclerate/VU cycle stealing hacks. Just dont turn these up too high.

the gpu is the 640 version so im good i can usually run all games with 3x scaling and im using 7 not vista the processor is over clocked as for speed hacks i usually set them up to about 2

i think you should use "golwing 1.1.1.6"
my GPU is nvidea 7025(very old)
but it is also run very fast!!
everytime it runs 60 FPS
so it is the best plugin!!VA_AV

zerogs is not as advanced as GSDX and you may have more issues...

That said, your machine is hardly "powerful" and it is a few years... umm... out of style is a nice way to put it I guess.

Nope you can't use DirectX 11( your graphics card is not that capable)
You may want to upgrade the graphics card(if you want)
Its better for Windows vista DirectX 10 mode.
Well GSdx 10, i don't use. Use GSdx instead.

And your processor is quite capable of running khII
My friends Core2Duo runs fine with that game!

Try Setting the Speedhacks all to max. It should not break this games especially!
