Reminds me of when they OC'd a Pentium 4 (Northwood) to 5GHz in 2003.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.60~4.20 GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200

In certain thing the 8350 can beat the 4790.. They are all generally very specific applications. For the common to power user.. The 4790k is just leaps and bounds over a 8350 or any AMD chip. It sucks but AMD hasn't done anything really "useful" on the CPU side of things in a long while. While intel instead of releasing a sub par chip takes the time to ~perfect their design.
Please note I am not a Intel Fanboy by any means. I try to be fair to both sides.. Just AMD is seriously losing badly to intel over the last few years.
MOBO - GIGABYTE X570 AORUS MASTER
CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT
RAM - 32 Gigs DDR4
HDD - To many to note. NVEM, SSD and HDD
GPU - Nvidia GTX 1070
OS- Windows 10

Intel hit their limits too, modern Intel chips are based on mobile P3 technology and they've pushed it about as far as they can. That's why Broadwell and Skylake aren't nearly as much faster as people thought they'd be.

And AMD hit their limit earlier, but then their at the time stupid management bet on a microarchitecture that was more server oriented, and here we are today.

but amd fx 8core max overclock can reach to 8ghz but need liquid cpu cooler cool massive heat

we just need to wait for 7nm cpu 5 to 6 years later

You'd need more than liquid cooling, you'd need Liquid Nitrogen cooling, which will let you run the system for maybe 30 minutes or an hour.

i know i wish they would get on there zen cores already.... i mean the best stp amd chip is the Athlon x4 860K but its nothing compared to a i5 4690K which is also 4 cores. but amd is still on the 28nm on there chips.
