the sound may go bad if it's synchronized with fps (and I bet you get low fps)
you may disable time stretching, though.
it may help a bit.

a 2.2 can handle that game deciently well at native on DX10 it seems to be able to handle much worse too.

so you're saying it's my gpu that's slowing me down?
also, will pal games run faster than ntsc games? (since it requires less fps?)

if you mean full speed, i'd say dual core 3.4 ghz, and a 8800GT for Gow2.

GoW you can get away with 2.4 and a 8600 or so on native

with my system i can run god of war 2 with just a couple of speedhacks
