New to the community (completely) Followed a few guides, trying to get this game to run properly, did everything up in settings etc, issue I'm having is in the first mission, after the first cutscene underwater, I'm freezing right at the start of the cutscene you can skip overlooking the bridge windows with a guy in a yellow vest behind the helm. Hoping someone can let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!
Update: Spamming X while the screen is present skips me to be able to play, but upon pressing O (command button) it freezes back up. Ignoring the commands, it seems to crash at certain events, such as a team member about to report an enemy I'm looking at or otherwise. Currently unplayable for me.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Ran into the issue, froze up, closed the game window and checked the logs. should note it attempts to load progressively, long stutters (5-10 second between next frame load) and plays a clip of the audio for that sound.

Savestate was just a quicker way to test, issue occurs the same way without. I'll try the latest devbuild, you mean the PCSX2 version, right?

Update: I switched to the latest devbuild available (1.7.3316) and encountered an interesting situation. I'll need to do some more testing, but right now I believe that when the game detects audio from my microphone, the issues begin.
When switching to the dev build, it did not load everything I set up, so I figured I'd try it with a clean slate. and the cutscene worked fine.
I went back and set up my microphone how someone's guide showed me (a feature in SOCOM is to take audio from your microphone and convert it into commands for AI team members). The issue began again, particularly whenever I said something into my mic.
For USB settings;
Device type > Port 1 > "Logitechy USB Headset"
Device API > Port 1 > WASAPI
Configuring WASAPI;
Audio Input > Player 1 > "VoiceMeeter Aux Output
Audio Output > "VoiceMeeter Aux Input"

Note, I DID NOT re-install the plugin from the git link, though it may have carried over, I'm unsure how to verify on the newest dev build.
