I'm using linux mint 19 and when I try to execute it, nothing happens. So I tried to run it per Terminal, and it gave me the following:

I couldn't find any help so far, so I could be the first person to have this problem on linuxmint. I don't like to use Capselock, but could please anyone help me? Thanks!

Please clarify some things:

- Which Mint version are you using (32 or 64bit?)
- What Desktop (Cinnamon, MATE, ...?)
- How did you install PCSX2?

From that terminal output, you are trying to use PCSX2 1.2.2 which is very, very old. That's why it is missing so many dependencies. It likely wants you to have many old packages that don't exist anymore. You should try a newer version. If I remember right, you can get 1.4 from the main software repository. I haven't used Linux Mint in awhile though, so I'm not sure what the best way is to get the latest dev build.

If you're using v.1.2.x or another outdated build, then yes, definitely (if you do it right).

- First, uninstall the outdated version (Also, better to remove config files, if you don't need them)
- For dev-builds, add the PPA from https://launchpad.net/%7Epcsx2-team/+arc...csx2-daily to your system
- Install by: sudo apt install pcsx2-unstable

You might face some missing dependencies related to GTK, so the UI will not look very modern. To fix this, additional install:

- sudo apt install gtk2-engines-pixbuf:i386
- sudo apt install gtk2-engines-murrine:i386
- sudo apt install gnome-themes-extra:i386
- sudo apt install libatk-adaptor:i386
- sudo apt install libgail-common:i386
