starting problems

hi first time poster, and i want to say i thanks PCSX2 team for making such a wonderful program. i have this on a PC and it works great, but i recently tried to install it to my 13in macbook but couldn't get it to run. after my install, when i double click on PCSX2, the program goes on for 2 secs before closing. X11 doesnt even pop up(but does work when i 2x click it, so it is there).any help would be appreciated.

note: i have intalled Nvidia CG 3.0 and X11 already. im working with 10.6.5 and my hardware is decent....2gbs ram and 2.4ghz intel proc.
