steam deck: QT version doesn´t start in Game mode

QT version stopped working on steam deck after last update... it is working in desktop mode but when "add to Steam" is used it doenst start anymore.
also save states  are not working anymore ( not compatible)  ... how can I go back to old version ?

or how can i fix this ?   .. save states were very important ((((

ok thx for information.   it used to work with older versions.   problem is when running in desktop mode the steam deck controller is NOT working correctly. 
cant fix this in settings
