The problem is your cpu and your gpu. This game is less demanding. Even with my notebook can play full fps at 2x res with only 3 recomanded hacks plus MTVU hack.

Lag on world map happens on the PS2 too, not much you can do about it.

The Game isn't big (in size i.e GB's) but it has a lot of things / graphics to rendered/calculated at same time. So sometimes the PS2 Can't handle the huge things and hence it is a bit slow. Smile
