So, I got the latest version of ps2 emulator PCSX2 v 1.00. At first it seemed fine The FPS bar showed around 60 fps, and if I took off the frame limit it would grow up to 140 fps. I have followed all the instructions. I tried to emulate Tekken4. It opens up, but when I choose whatever mod, be it story, challenge, practice, it crushes. I tried everything, different bios, different graphic plugins(but ONLY ONE works), different setting. Changing plugins, bios, settings didn't help. I reinstalled pcsx2 v 1.00, didn't change anything. I tried installing an older version 0.98 , didn't work either. I tried downloading all possible plugins, but again ONLY ONE works. There seems nothing I can do at this point.
My computer is preety powerful and i have directx 11 so there shouldn't be problems with it. My specs : AMD Athlox II X2 245 2.90 Ghz , Radeon HD 6670 1 Gb video card, 3.00 Gb RAM

The only gsdx plugin that will work with that old cpu is the sse2 one.
Tried using fast boot instead ?
Cause tekken 4 needs some fixes to be enabled, and they will be automaticall applied with fast boot only.

Hi,i'm playing Tekken 4 on my pc now.here is no problem.i'm using official v1.0.0 r5350.tick native in video plugin setting & select Direct 3D9 or direct3D 10 hardware.go to system tab in pcsx2 & tick all options e.g. Enable automatic game fixes,enable cheats (cheat section is compulsory).make sure u don't tick presets,because by enabling it,u can't use automatic game fixes.

it works now, but slow, do i have to do the fast boot all the time ?

accroding to the compatibility list, you will need a recent svn to make this game work.

i have the same problem with another game, it works, but slow, the fps shows 50-60 fps, but the game is reeealy slow. What should i do ?

get a decent pc ?
tell the game you're trying to run ?
your pcsx2 config, version, emulog.txt, etc...

i use pscx2 v 1.00, got the latest svn. GSdx 5605 SSE2 Direct3D11 Hardware, I leave emulation settings on default
the game that doesn't work properly is 007 agent under fire and tekken4 .
