tota's ghosting

ToTA GSdx32 (05052015)-SSE2
ToTA GSdx32 (05052015)-SSSE3
ToTA GSdx32 (05052015)-SSE4
ToTA GSdx32 (05052015)-AVX2

It's applied to GSdx: May 5th, 2015 from Github.

Even the cracked screen looks good now (the one you get as you enter a battle).

[Edit 2]
A note, to actually make the hack work, you need to enable Hardware Hacks, and then check "ToA Ghost Fix"
Additionally, you MUST use SCALING to use higher than Native Res. Any 'custom' resolution will result in the patch not working.

[Edit 3]
AVX2 version added.

[Edit 4 - Update 06/10/2015]
The patch causes a 1px border on the left and top side of the screen. This is caused by the offset hack and can't be avoided unfortunately.
Compared to the ghosting though it's a very minor issue and still makes it worth using.
Note: A workaround for this can be made by going to Config > Emulation Settings > GS Window > Set 'Zoom' to 101.00 ~ 102.00.

[Edit 5 - Updated plugins. Based on GSdx of May 5th, 2015]
'Halfpixel offset' is now renamed to 'ToA Ghost Fix' (This is only for this particular plugin, so it's only to make it easier to find the correct hack.)

Will download for archival purposes, can't use them though. Yeah, people shouldn't forget that Half-pixel Offset needs to be on.

Added SSE2 and SSSE3 as well for people that don't have support for AVX/SSE4

Woot woot! I'm assuming the SSE2 versions has AF now? The original was way behind in times.
#35
Yup, AF is in, awesome!!!!
#36
Yup it's the latest gsdx, so it has all the features too Smile

That's one of the main reasons why I disliked the old patched GSdx. Outdated, and only SSE2 support (though in your case this doesn't matter, because you don't have AVX2 support or SSE4 I think), but for people that can make use of SSE4/AVX2 it's handy to have that option available.

I might just get back into ToA again for a bit now that this thing is working properly with a current GSdx.

Also gotta give a shoutout to Blyss for helping me out on how to compile the various versions of GSdx. I was struggling last night with this and couldn't get it to work Tongue

Your speculation is correct. I can only use SSE2, it's why I never bothered creating new ones. I was content with what we had. Really well done though, nice of Blyss to help. I'll keep copies of all the versions with me just incase.

You may want to go in the wiki and just tell people to use this version of GSdx, since it's probably the best option available, though that's up to you.

Also, as a side-note, I had the Alpha hack (Not Alpha Stencil) enabled in my play through, but it's been nearly 2 years since I've last played the game, so I'm not sure why I had it on, but there must have been a reason. If I ever want to replay the game, I'll look into why.

Yeah I just updated the wiki and added a link to my post that has the DL links for the versions.
