Okay, I put in the Valkyrie Profile 2 disc on the mac. I start PCSX2, go on Files, run DVD, put the route(/Volumes/VALKYRIEPROFILE2), put ok and:

What I'm missing?

you need to dump an iso from your DVD.
pcsx2 for mac can't run discs directly
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Ok, I did it.
But still:

Cannot guarantee this game is comptible with th mac port of pcsx2.
But it loiks like you made a bad dump anyways.
How did you dump your dvd ?
Did you dump the bios from your ps2 too ?
