ubuntu 19.04 only 1 core sitting at 100%?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if this is as intended, currently when running emulations on my rig only has 1 core fires up and itsĀ sitting at 100%.
from reading around it suggest that emulator should be using 2 cores in game?
is this something I can manually configure or are there drivers I need to install?

This Emulator is mainly using a single core, but you can try to enable multi threaded VU to increase performance in some games: Go to config->emulation settings->Speedhacks->Enable MTVU.

Are you using the stable version of PCSX2 (1.4.0) or a dev-build? Using a dev-build will in general increase your performance and works better aswell.

See here how to add a PPA for dev-builds: https://launchpad.net/%7Epcsx2-team/+arc...csx2-daily
(After adding the ppa, install by using "apt install pcsx2-unstable".
Tired of always changing your PCSX2 Configuration for different games?
