use older save states

i shifted over from an older version of pcsx2 to the 2.0.9.7 version and i want to use the earlier save states of god of war 2.how should i use them??where to copy the save states?pls help...

You can't. You can only use normal memory card saves, save states from 0.9.6 are not compatible with 0.9.7 beta

Some time it works.
you can try it out , coping the save estate in the estate folder inside the pcsx2 folder.

if you know what version you've used before, you can use that version to load your savestate and then save to memory card
