Since it doesn't support QUAD core yet, I'd assume your processor would suffer. Everything else seems fine, though. Pop in FFX and see how it runs.

It's quad core, you know. PCSX2 supports dual core just fine. GSDX supports more cores for software rendering.

PCSX2 does support dual core, did you mean quad-core?

OP: Performance can vary greatly from game to game, so it's hard to say, but it should do ok with most games. A higher clocked dual core is better than a lower clocked quad core for emulation. GPU and RAM should be fine.

You might want to look into CPU overclocking, so you don't have to rely on speedhacks as much.
