(by smoothly, I mean no flashing/flickering graphics, and 70%-100% frame rate)

U can just pray hopefully u could reach 100% (except black screen, loading screen,etc). Your laptop is too weak (CPU,graphics card). Mostly,2d games will give u good speed(not 100% or 60fps,though)
To put it simple, no game will run smoothly.

Only some 2D games like Disgaea and such since that intel onboard chip for graphics card fails totally.

ahh i see. Maybe Ill just save some money to buy a decent vid card for my desktop. My old vid card got toasted for some unknown reason.

Im using onboard video card and kingdom hearts and ffx runs smoothly.
Try using full screen with 800x600 resolution.

Uh, nope. If u want full screen, check the native option and disable all other options. That's the best bet with some speedhacks enabled.
