the normal speed of pcsx2 is 60 fps
if u press tab then it switches to turbo mode so speed jumps to 80 fps plus if u press shift and tab then it switches to slow motion mode so the speed drops to 30 fps thus i am guessing the slow motion adjust determines the speed of the slow motion. it makes sense because 50% of 60 is 30. if you want it to go slower than 30 fps then decrease the percent

if you do that then when u press the turbo key it will go slow
also u can make the slow motion adjust 1000% so when u press the slow motion key it will go super fast you have the ability to set a percentage for slow motion mode and another for turbo mode. choose whatever u want u can also set a percent for the base speed of the emulator

Now don't let the names used there fool you, Turbo adjust at 200% means the emulator will try to play at double the current FPS, so if it is 75 (without the framelimiting of course) and the machine is that monster you'd get 150 FPS at that moment. Now if you enter 50% there you actually are slow motioning the game to half the current FPS ![]() Then the rule is simple: above 100% is turbo, below 100% is slow motion. PS: Notice that despite they acting the same way, they aren't exactly the same thing from the user's view point, for "Turbo" is activated by the TAB key while Slow motion by Shift+TAB. These aren't meant as speed hacks, Turbo is useful if you want to quickly pass by long, boring, cutscenes or just go somewhere faster. Slow motion may help in some situations you want the action to play slower (some infamous mini games come to memory). PPS: Because they aren't meant as Speedhacks (despite many thinking so), the turbo benefits from that option to "frameskip" only when it is active... for the main application for it is to bypass things, not to actually play thru them and so the almost complete loss of accuracy in doing that combination is not so serious.
