Hmmm... PCSX2 emulates bugs that happen in the PS3 when playing PS2 games on it, wouldn't that be going beyond completion? Tongue2

Well, I understand the concept of emulation is usually to make it behave exactly as the native device. In truth, emulate is to "match or surpass", so to go beyond the native device can be the goal of completion.

I guess the question is:

Are the devs aiming to match, or surpass the native PS2?

I'm guessing the goal was simply to match it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they end up surpassing it along the way. In some ways, at least.

65% compatibility rating + savestates + Infinite Res Graphics > Real PS2
I think the PCSX2 team should just drop compatibility on multiplatform games. I'm sure making those games compatible is making exclusives harder in some way

THe PCSX2 team claims it is either impossible or will be too slow. Let Intel and AMD fix that issue for you
