With the computer you have, you can play the PC version just fine. Why bother trying to play the PS2 version?
Athlon 64 X2 5600+ 2.81GHz [Windsor] w/ Noctua NH-C12P
Asus Xonar D2 w/ Logitech Z-5500
e-VGA 8800GTS 640MB 513/792 stock ; 720/1080 o/c
Corsair XMS2 1GB DDR2 PC6400 x2
Western Digital 500GB 16MB cache x2
Thermaltake W0106RU 700W
---
XP Pro - SP2 - 32bit

Maybe because he doesn't own the PC version but owns the PS2 version...?
Also, Waro, why don't you have XP SP3...?

Xp 64bit has the same roadmap as Server 2003 32bit, Now it owned SP2, not SP3.

Even Vista SP2 should install DirectX March 2009, should also does Windows seven.

The OP stated that he wants to play the game. I was only directing him towards the better, hassle free choice. It might not be free, but I'm pretty sure the game's dirt cheap by now. If he can't spend ten bucks on a game, then he doesn't want to play it, in my opinion.

I still haven't updated to SP3 because, on the one hand, I'm still on dial-up (@46.6 kb/s! Wow!). On the other hand, I'm gonna buy Windows 7 soon. Laugh

This is a quid pro quo: Aemony was talking about me, while you are talking about the OP. Wink

Pay attention to what I write! I clearly added Waro's nickname in my post to not confuse anyone... Wacko

But yeah, buying the PC version of the game is better than trying to play it through PSCX2, Waro is correct on that one.
