I remember that ATI Graphic cards didn't work well with PCSX2 as NVIDIA ones.

It's still the case ?

core for core yes Nividia is better but not much to talk about and convince you to change to Nividia to it's match not to mention it's more expensive Glare

Before I had an ATI HD 4870 and a NVIDIA 9500 GT.

The NVIDIA 9500 GT ran a lot faster than the HD 4870 while this one was much powerful.

It was on PCSX2 0.9.7 version.

well i don't know about the 4870 but the 4XXX series does have a thing or 2 against PCSX2 5xxx,6xxx and 7xxx perform generally much better .

Just like intel cpus generally perfoming better than amd cpus at the same clock rate, I believe its a similar situation with nvidea vs ati. Ive seen a few people with various issues with ati cards, yet very few with issues with nvidea cards. Not sure if the issues are only in a specific series or not, just an observation.

Intel CPUs are better in EVERYTHING it's tottaly different thing but yeah similar but AMD do win some rounds against Nividia

nah that's nonsense both of you. Nvidia isn't better then AMD Graphics, and since PCSX2 is mostly using CPU then GPU it doesn't matter anyway.

How would you explain then that my GPU usage is always at 99% during a game being emulated through it then?

91.69 FPS - NVIDIA GTX 560 Ti (OC 1000/1200) - Shadow Lady - GPU-Z
91.17 FPS - AMD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition (Gigabyte OC Edition 1100/1200) - Teentitanbg - GPU-Z
91.17 FPS - AMD Radeon HD 6950 (OC 1000/1425) - tuanming

the benchmark speaks of it self ...

why u become insecure when somebody talking about amd??
because u have amd,u can't say which one is better or not.btw for u'r kind information Intel cpus are far better than amd cpus.
i can't say about amd graphics.plz not always praise u'r amd things !! Blink
