why cant i connect my Xbox controller to pcsx2 ?

somehow the pcsx2 doesnt want to admit that i have my xbox controller connected to the pc

but the controller is connected and the pc shows it

Have you installed the X360 controller drivers from Microsoft?

Also try changing to DirectInput at the top.(nevermind this, it's late and I'm an idiot)

i did try DirectInput and it did not work

and no i havent installed x360 controller drivers
