will I ever be able to play FFXI with my specs?

hi, my first time here.

started using pcsx2 mainly to play FFXII. but it runs around 30fps on my laptop. is there anything i can do to improve it?

configuration:

Intel i5 3210m
Intel HD graphics 4000
4 gb ram
windows 8

I don't even need to run it at hd, native resolution at 50 fps would be great for me.

can someone help me?

use some speedhacks, and keep native res.
but don't expect miracles since that Gpu is clearly crap.

Better keep playing on your actual PS2 until you can afford a better machine.

i gave my ps2 away a couple years ago... emulating it it's the only chance i got.

and i just bought this laptop, i won't buy another one for the next years. gaming on pc isnt one of my priorities, i usually play on my ps3.

funny, i just tried installing pcsx2 on my parents desktop and it runs ffxii much better than on my notebook (A6; 6GB RAM; integrated radeon 6530d), it gets around 40~50 fps. I thought the intel 4000 was better at graphics.

means you have no legal way to use pcsx2, then.
