in short, your CPU will limit you in most intensive games.
Bulldozer architecture is unfortunately performing very badly when it comes to pcsx2 or gaming in general.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

You should consider a bit of OC. I played GT4 with and FX-6100@4GHz + speedhack (EE: 2, VU: 1, other speedhack active) and it went well (except dark tracks, but those are quite buggy), and GT4 is said to be quite an intensive game...

getting a piledriver cpu is a good buy due to 20 percent gain at same clock.
OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit (occasional Antergos/Arch user)
(I am no longer a Windows user)
CPU: Intel Pentium G3258
GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti

how about buying an Ivy bridge 70% more performance for the same clock
like the 20% would matter that much

Oh please don't you turn this to a fanboy thread we all know that bulldozer is the worse CPU to buy for emulation and that 20% increase wont cut it ;/
