windows 7 pcsx2 0.9.6 boot error

when i start any game through iso, i get an error and the game doesnt boot.

all settings are pretty much default, except i have selected gsdx10 hardware and sse2

im running windows 7 ultimate - the error says something about directx and something like xaudio (something like that)

i update my directx and video card drivers, but still doesnt work. any ideas?

kindly attach your emutxt.log,pcsx2 configs and your CDVD plug-in settings.

ok i will post them after i get a chance. i dual boot xp and 7, so i will do that later. The cdvd plugin is the default one that came with the installation and i mounted a ripped game from the ps2 dvd using magiciso. i set the cdvd plugin to cd drive "F:".

don't mount your ISO using magicISO use Linuz-ISO(Linuzappz)

Okay, i installed beta 0.9.7 and the setup was fine. When it asks me to pick my plugins, i clicked next and it said this:



Then after i click ok, i go to the microsoft directx web installer website and run the setup and get this message:



And then PCSX2 0.9.7 just says either to click ok or cancel, and if i cancel the emulator closes.

The problem is that i need to update directx to dx 11 somehow, but i cant.

Try using the directsound output module in SPU2-X sound plugin, and DX10 only works correctly with an AMD/nvidia graphics card and barely works with Intel cards so... what's your PC specs?

If the web installer doesn't work then try with the redistributable:

i have a 768 mb nvidia geforce 9600 gso 192 bit atm and i will try out the link you gave me
