does it run better on linux, or is windows going to be the best way to play. any suggestions.

windows is the most advanced.
Linux is well maintained by a few guys (Gregory), but windows is still the most advanced one.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go
