zone of the enders 2 Help config
#1
Hi, I would like to help the gaming zone of the enders 2, I have a big slowdown, I just try to increase fps but I still hurt.
I have a normal speed and a cinematic shots of the battle lags.Et ç'est really slow 10-20 fps so that when there are only small enemy it comes to the normal
I would like to know how to configure.

PS: I am French, I write this message thanks to a translator.

Is hard to tell what could help you more based on the lack of information.

Let's just say that this game slowdown at me also on a machine able to run most other games at steady FPS with little or no speedhacks at all.

So the answer is, what may help you more with this game is VU cycle stealing, the least you can advance it before getting sync troubles.

At least in my system EE cyclerate does not help (with this particular game), actually makes things worse, you should try it also and see how it fares for you.

If is a multicore CPU (with at least 4 cores) you may try MTVU hack and verify if it helped.

Disable what don't help for it will end making things worse eventually.

Don't be afraid to try the speedhacks, preferably verifying the results of each change before actually commiting them.

If still not getting full speed, them I'm sorry but that means your machine will not cut it for this game.

I I remember well, you can't get full speed with this game whatever you do.
It's just too demanding for any machine ATM
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Man, I pretty much suspected it, but since my machine is reasonably good but far from the best around here, I couldn't be sure Smile

Hello. Sorry for rising this from the graveyard but there are plenty of posts about pcsx2 and ZoE (1 & 2) and I did not wanted to make another one (hope I did well ...)

I read a lot of different things about this game and the configuration needed to get it work with pcsx2.
So far I'm getting a bit confused and I hope that someone can help me to clarify the situation.

I currently have an AMD Athlon X2 340 (and this crappy CPU is just able to provide 24fps even with speed hacks). That's why I will change. But ...
But You can see here :

and here:

That it is possible to run (quite smoothly) ZoE2 with a Core 2 Quad Q9550. Other people pretend that without (at least) an i5, the game won't run @ full speed (wiki).

So, currently my motherboard is able to take FM2 and FM2+ CPU and if I can avoid avoid buying a new mother board that would be great.
Here is my question :
The Intel Q9550 gets a 4073 CPU Mark score (http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?id=1049)
The AMD A8-6600K gets a 4686 CPU Mark score (http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?id=1946)
So if the game can run on the Q9550 like this, do I really need an i5 or can I just get the A8 and expect the same result (with some speed hacks if necessary) ?

BTW, concerning the GPU, it's a R7 250 1Gb DDR5 (I think this is ok so far).

Any clue would be really helpful thx :-)

PS : As you might noticed English is not my mother tong, sorry if I wrote something wrong :-S
