do you know your cpu model? presuming its a newish machine, you could try 2 threads, to see if that helps at all

not an amazing computer im afraid as far as the emulator is concerned at least.

you have 2 options.

1. Play with the speedhacks in the emulator settings and see if any of them help. Its tempting to throw them all on, this might have a negative effect, so test them bit at a time!
2. Overclock your pc. Of course this must be done with care as if it's not done well, you could damage your computer.
