I'm having a problem with Kingdom Hearts 2. I'm running into a brick wall in frame rates like 14 fps. During the Opening Cut scene i'm seeing 86 fps then right when roxis wakes up it plummets to the 14fps range. Ive tried different speed hacks and other settings changes anyone have any suggestions.
Specs:
Nvidia Gtx 512 dedicated
AMD Athlon X2 2.8Ghz
4Gb Ram
and i'm running an iso to increase speed.

Update: Ive successfully increased frame rates to a playable 40fps by messing with the Native resolution settings and removing all speed hacks.

what pcsx2 version? what settings?

Graphics Plugin: GSdx 860; Windowed; DX 9 Hardware; PS 2.0; no interlacing; Aspect 4:3; 1024x1024 d3d res; NLOOP hack; Texture Filtering; Alpha correction. no limiting on cpu; Both VU Recompilers running and Multi threaded GS mode on. X1.5 Cycle rate. no signifigant increase from the other spead hacks was noticed and game ran better without them.

Use the latest released beta, that will give you a nice speed boost
