here are my pc specs

amd athlon x2 3.0 ghz
nvdia geforce 9500 gt
2 gig ddr2 pc 800 ram
160 gb hd

i use the default settings of pcsx2 0.9.6, it loads the game at 60 fps but when i go to the race it crashes. is gt3 one of those games that requires a more powerful specs than mine or can something be done to make it work?

The game is not playable in 0.9.6 and I don't think it's playable in the latest betas yet either. Please refer to the compatibility list in the future or do a forum search as both would have gotten you the answer to this particular question.
