In the guide is a desciption about cpu priority and that you can set it to high. I would like to do this because when i play FFX my fps sometimes makes a huge drop to 20% and only 50% cpu is used. Is there any way to fix this?
It should still be there "run > process priority > high" in pcsx2 0.9.6, it wont help with 50% cpu usage, it doesn't really have to do with that.

my specs are:
AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core (2.0GHz)
up to 1791MB Nvidia GeForce 8600M GS Turbocache (they say up to but i guess it's just a 512 MB or something like that (it runs dragonage properly))
4GB DDR2 RAM
And still i cant find the cpu priority button underneath run, it just says execute and reset. Now i don't know if i got the right version. it says PCSX 2 TC edition.
So you CPU is slow for pcsx2, you should not expect fullspeed at almost any game.
u can set it in the task manager..
anyway don't expect much from that spec..
cpu game runs in a different way than emulator..
take note bout that..
