im on windows 7,and this never happens when i was using xp,so i think that is mainly the problem??,beacuse when using the latest stable beta 1888 and going to the option configure to set up all the plugins,the emu simply freezes,and i have to ctrl+alt+delete him to finish it.Anybody knows why this happens ??

Try deleting the files in the "pcsx2\inis" folder and maybe remove some old plugins that might be causing trouble... or better yet get the latest beta again and start in a new folder to see if anything there is causing trouble.
