Full Version: Confused about D3D Internal Res

I see some people making it the same as their resolution and then others making D3D Internal Res a 1:1 value (2048x2048, 4096x4096, etc.). Is one way better than the other? Also, should they be kept at a multiple of 1024 or doesn't it matter?

i know for sure u can put anything there (just not something crazy like 1x1024 it will work but it will have no point at all) i use the resolution pcsx2 shows that the game is created on and i multiply the 2 values. example it may show 512x448 i do a x4 so i write 2046x1796. i dont know if thats the best u can do but thats what i use and all are going fine till now
Multiplying the game's native resolution like iakoboss7 does it is best, yeah.
The higher you go, the better it'll look (and the netter your graphic cards needs to be).
On the latest GSdx betas we have a scaling option, that basically does this for you.

i am glad what i was doing all that time was the best method cause i was just following my logic Tongue
