hello and ty in advance, heres my comp specs:
INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q9300
RAM: 8GIG ddr3
1Tb HDD ( just in case lol )
nvidia gts 230 1536mb ( dedicate video memory )

so my question is why im gettin 20-25 fps cpu 100% while runnnin ffxii i think with those specs i should be able to run it smoothly, on cutscenes i get 120+ fps and cpu % 20-40% i have played around all day with the plugins and ress but still nothin plz let me know if u can help.

what's your cpu clockspeed ?

and please post your pcsx2 version, plugins config, screenshots...
any extra info that could help

This most likely means you're video card limited.

http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=33922 so his clock speed is 2.5ghz. It problay is graphic card but cpu might be some of a limit since it only use 2 core and it clock speed is only that high.

He's video limited. But yeah, 2.5ghz isnt really enough to run ffxii at full speed.

ahhhh i see might need to upgrade my graphic card, oh well i wwas plannin on buyin one anyway thanx for the replies everyone
