heeyyy! i'm pretty new to emulating ps2 but i seem to have gotten it to work with no problems.
the problem i have is that no matter what i do, i can only run persona 3: fes at 50 fps at 83% game speed (i'm assuming). i can press F4 in game until i get to the none/normal setting, but then it runs really fast! like at about 200% game speed.
is there something i can do to maybe get 60fps or run it closer to 100% game speed?
i have a 9800 gt...

with ur specs u shouldn't have any trouble running this game..
mybe the settings in frame limiting is wrong

If the game is PAL full speed IS 50 fps.

But then is 100% game speed. In version 0.9.6 limiter changes automatically, when game is PAL or NTSC, maybe you change this setting? Look at the console, there is write green "Framelimiter rate updated (...): 59.94 or 50 fps, and if your CPU(2 cores) is too slow to run this game, then fps is jumping for example from 40 to 60 fps during the game. I've finished this game, and about 95% playing time I have 60fps, but frequency of my CPU is Higher. You may try newest beta of PSCX2, there displays EE, and when EE = 99, 100% then means this that is all that you can receive with current settings (speedhacks "may" help).
First of all: Do you own the PAL version of the game?

What do you mean with "you asssume"? Is this about the value shown by PCSX2 and you aren't sure if it was 83% or 85%, or do you
guess that this should be the percentage of the game's speed? I honestly don't really get your problem, sorry^^.
