pcsx2 0.9.6 is crashing for me.when i execute the file it is showing "sony computer entertainment " after that its crashing.

my system spec
pentium D 3.00 GHZ
1 gb ddr2 RAM
nvidia g210 1 GB graphic card

my pcsx2 plugins

graphics :-gsdx 890 (msvc 15.00, SSE2, 0.1.14)
first controler :- lilypad 0.9.9
cddrom :- linuz ISO CDVD 0.8.0
usb:- USBnull driver 0.5.0
sound SPU2 1.1.0
second controler :- lilypad 0.9.9
dev9:- DEV9null driver 0.3.0
firewire:- FWnull driver 0.4.0

renderer :- direct3d9 (hardware)
pixel shader:- 3.0

i made a topic in few other forums including emu forums but no one was able to help me.

Did you configure the CDVD Plugin to point to the ISO file of the game. It could also be that the game is not playable, telling us the name of the game could help us help you better. You might also want to give the latest Beta version a try, it works better in most games.

im trying to play NFS carbon, i even tried to play it directly thro my original carbon cd but no luck, i tried few more games (god of war,urban reign etc...) getting same thing and sorry didn't understood what u mean by "did u configure the CDVD plugin to point the ISO file of the game"

did you at least update your directx ?

And don't bother with nfs:carbon.
That game is severely bugged.
Try to get god of war running, I think that one is supported on 0.9.6.

By configuring Linuzapps and pointing out the ISO file I meant this (check attachemnt below), and as you can see, NFS Carbon is buggy like rama said, try God of War or some other game.

tried that thing didn't work, i tried playing resident evil 4 and few other games, none is working.
i took a screenshot of the plugin folder, may be some plugin is missing.

Directx is updated quite often
update your directx to be sure (latest update should be february 2010)

i changed graphics plug in to zeroGS 0.97.1. it worked .

of course, because zerogs uses open GL and not Dx.
But you will encounter more mproblems with it.

Oh, well. Tha's your choice, after all.
