Hi guys,
Now, I’m sure this question has been answered a few times before in different topics and different threads.

But I recently decided to play Persona 3. Now, what I need to know is what settings I would need and what version of Pcsx2 I would need to use? (The released version or the beta version) And what plug-in for the different categories I should use?

Now the following are my settings, so if anyone could recommend a good set of graphic/sound/cpu/speedhack settings for my laptop.

So, onto the settings:

Processor:
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8600 2,40GHz

Memory:
4GB

Video card:
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT

Screen:
1440 x 900 32bit color depth

Now the goal is 60 fps, preferably with the best visuals you think my computer can handle.
Thank you, thank you, thank you all!
Unfortunately your CPU wont let you have full speed all of the time.

Try the latest beta and latest beta plugins and show us your PCSX2 and plugin settings so we can help better.

How would i go about "showing" you these settings?
Are we talking a screenshot here, or more of an explentation?
Would you like to simply see what i plugins i use, or the configured state of them?

both
Disable "Allow 8-bit textures" in GSdx, they don't help on this game.
Disable MicroVU in CPU settings and enable the Gamefix for persona for a small speedup.
Set the "VU cycle stealing" hack to 'None', it'll give only give false FPS in this game, although in the slow scenes it can give better sound at the cost of the scene being much slower still.

Other than that you're fine, I'm guessing you have the clamp modes in "config > advanced" set to 'None' but if you don't, try that.
For SPU2-X you can try ticking the "Disable effect processing" setting, may or may not help. You could also try the ZeroSPU2 plugin I guess but the sound quality will be lower.

And that's about all you can do for speed on this game.
Thank you! Now it runs nicley thanks to your information.

Kudos to you!Smile
