Attempting to try out FFX-2 on the latest PCSX2 beta. I'm getting about 40-45 FPS on cutscenes and I was wondering if there was anyway to speed this up. Here are my specs

AMD Phenom II X4 940 @ 3.5GHz
nVidia GeForce 8800GT
3GB RAM
Windows Vista

FFX-2 videos are extremely CPU demanding on PCSX2 (probably due to a bug or something not emulated correctly). Don't worry though, the game has like 5 videos in total.

Haha okay, thank you for the fast reply. I'll tolerate it for now then I guess.

Going purely by math, it seems you'd have to overclock your CPU to 4.67GHz (60/45 * 3.5GHz) to get full speed.
