I had recently upgraded my pc. It's rather a big leap to compare with my old spec. I am really happy when pcsx2 emulates my games in full speed. But what i regret is,before i upgrade pcsx2 had no problems emulating Front Mission 4 (even it is slow). After i upgrade my pc, the speed is sky rocking but i can never play even the first training with wanzer. Pcsx2 just crashing.

im using PCSX2 r1888, with march released plugins n latest directx (feb2010).

this is my old spec:
Pentium 4 HT 3ghz
ATi RADEON HD2600 512mb
2 Gb ram
Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

this is my new spec
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66ghz
ATi RADEON HD4350 512mb
1.4 gb ram (don't know why my pc detect my two piece of 1gb ram as 2 gb total)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Is it because of i'm using 64bit version of windows?
or i wrongly configured the pcsx2?

I had no problems emulating other games.
You probably changed some settings, show us your settings so we can help better or search/check the front mission threads in case there are known issues.
I can't say for sure what your exact problem is, but I did look into your GPU "upgrade". I'm sorry to say, but I think your old card was better. here's a quick look:

ATi RADEON HD2600
- Pipelines: 120
- Core Speed : 500Mhz
- Shader Speed: 500Mhz
- Memory Speed: 600Mhz
- Memory Bus Width: 128
- Video RAM: 256+ MB GDDR3

ATi RADEON HD4350
- Pipelines: 80
- Core Speed: 500Mhz
- Shader Speed: 500Mhz
- Memory Speed: 700Mhz
- Memory Bus Width: 64
- Video RAM: 512 MB GDDR3

Now, I'm no expert, but I believe this mean your new card, although powerful, isn't as fast as your old one. Different games may require different things. Front Mission 4 may just be one of those games that NEEDS a fast GPU. That's my guess...

EDIT: I should mention, your GPU is considered better aside from PCSX2 (based on benchmarks).
It doesn't have anything to with his rather low specs.
Even on my rig, FM4 crashes on r1888 and r2869.
My old GPU is faster? Man...i could not revert back to old one, because it is AGP and i have replace my mobo with PCIe one.

> shadow lady, i could not post my setting right now because im in my office. I'll post later when i get home. (its morning right now in my country).
And i have search the other Front mission thread, people had the same problems.

> k1net1cs, did you say r2869? You compile it your self? Or u download it fully compiled?
