When I try to play Zone of the Enders 2 (PAL) I just get this black screen:



I'm using the latest beta and I tried almost all possible configurations.

Specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate
GeForce 9800GTX
Core2Quad Q9450 - OC 3.00 GHZ
4GB DDR2 RAM

I can run the BIOS just fine and all but when I try to run the game I just get a black that black screen and it stays like that.

I tried using the 0.9.6 version but the same thing happened, same whit beta and latest plug-ins.

i got zone of the enders 2 (but not special edition) and works just fine in 1888 and 2980 i use. maybe special edition isnt playable yet or u do something wrong in the settings. post them if u can

Is there any way to dump settings to a txt?

try disabling allow 8 bits and/or enabling micro vu

d ount your iso in a 3rd party program ?
if so, unmount it and use linuz iso DVD plugin

I am already using Linuz ISO, tried the other plug in as well but had the same result...

Tried it and didn't work.


What I don't get is why the game doesn't even start, Shadow of the Colossus runs really great even at a high resolution so I'm guessing it isn't a spec problem.

did you try with the original DVD ?

i think its a bad iso problem,make another one just to be sure

there are many chances this game doesnt work.! as i said i got the simple game (not special like u) and i have even problems in software mode (hardware = only menus) so it maybe isnt playable yet! ofc u may do something wrong also u never know

You better try my given link. I ve uploaded this pcsx2 with latest plug in pack & it can run most of the games......
