Yeah PS1 emulators should run everything at well above full speed

Yep Ps1 doesn't require that much power I had Intel Pentium4 1.8Ghz and I used to get full speed all the time

Just to add something to this, you might want to try FFXII or Kingdom Hearts 1&2 if you have them. They both run perfect for me so you might be able to get 80-90% speed
