i have a amd anthlon II x3 rana 440

it supports sse2, 3, and 4.
but when i use any GSDx plugin besides
sse2.

it says "your cpu does not support sse3 (or sse4)

whats the deal??

the gsdx uses ssse3 (its 3 s not 2) and sse4.1 (its 4.1 not 4)

intel cpu's can use all of them

amd cpu's only sse2 sse3 and sse4a

ohhhhh. yea i was wondering about that.

so.. im starting to learn i should have went intel.
more money means better performance in the end.

Yeah, but a lot of AMD users are getting about the same performance using SSE2 anyways. SSSE3 and 4.1 are indeed faster, but only under certain circumstances and the difference isn't "ZOMG OVER 9000 FPS".
