Full Version: ZZogl confusion (new user)

Forgive my lack of knowledge on this topic, I'm fairly new to the emulation scene.

Every time I try to load a game (Legaia 2) I hit a zzogl error followed by a segmentation fault that shuts down the program. I'm running pcsx2 off an iso dump rather than the disk, I've downloaded zzogl 21.204 and run the app on pcsx2 (v. 0.9.6), and I've enabled the "No logarphmic Z" graphics config option.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

System specs are:
Mac OSX 10.6.3
2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2 GB 667 MHz DDr2 SDRAM
ATI Radeon HD 2600 pro w/256 mem

Update:

A little tinkering and I figured out I hadn't actually enabled zzogl 21.204 in the config menu (noob). That done the game loads and I get through the developer's credits at a quick clip of 140 fps before it freezes on a black screen before the game menu.

Using SPU2null 0.8.0 sound, DEV9null Driver 0.4.0, and Linuz Iso CDVD 0.9.0. Could changing any of those help?

I have tried using the P.E.Op.S SPU2 SDL sound driver but the program goes balistic and crashes when it loads, so that's no good...

Edit: Also tried ZeroSPU2 Playground 0.4.6 and it does the same thing as Peops, returning the error "pcsx2.sh: line 2: 8299 Segmentation fault ./pcsx2" before crashing.

I'd like to second this one. I get the same exact response each time I try to load up a game. Any help would be much appreciated!
There was an incorrect openGL call in versions prior to r212. Several videodrivers are pass though it, but others crush. So you need ZZogl version past r212.
