Hi, greeting pcsx2 users.
i'm new here and wondering if i can get help.

i have average 30-40 fps during gameplay for first stage of the game i'm playing. wonder if this can be increase to above 40. i using beta right now.

my spec should be:
AMD Athlon II X2 215 ~ quite weak i believe!
ASUS 5770 ~ was hoping this can increase the speed when i bought this GC
2G RAM ~ enough?

configuration:
i don't know what really important, so i will just label couple that i know of.
GSdX 1600 0.1.15
640x480 60Hz
everything else should be default.

the game i trying to play is Rurouni Kenshin: Enjou! Kyoto Rinne.

i googled around and found couples of software need to be install for pcsx2 to run fast enough.

No idea who told you that, but PCSX2 will be no different whether you install all that or not (seriously PhysX? PCSX2 doesn't even use that). By beta you mean 0.9.7? Because the GSdx you're using is not the one included in our 0.9.7 packs.

so, do i need overclock my cpu or can i?

Your gsdx plugin is old so try pcsx2 0.97 beta r.3113 with plugins pack included. Yes you can try to overclock cpu from default clock at 2.7ghz to 3.6ghz as far as your mobo support it but do this with decent Heatsink after market and not from default heatsink brought with cpu.
